Terms of Service

These terms apply to all products operated by Shane Code (Shane Burrell, Sole Proprietor) under the shanecode.org, accessidrop.com, and quotesnap.io domains (or any domain on which QuoteSnap is hosted).

Free Tools (JSON Knife)

JSON Knife is provided free of charge, as-is, with no warranty. All processing happens in your browser. We make no guarantees about availability or accuracy of results.

Paid Digital Products (SvelteUI Pro, SvelteShip)

When you purchase SvelteUI Pro or SvelteShip, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the source code in unlimited personal and commercial projects. You may not:

• Redistribute the source code as a standalone product or template
• Share your license or download with others
• Resell the code or any derivative template based on it

Accessibility Monitoring Service (AccessiDrop)

Service Description

AccessiDrop provides automated WCAG 2.1 AA compliance monitoring. The service scans registered URLs on a recurring schedule and reports accessibility issues with remediation guidance.

No Legal Advice / No Compliance Guarantee

AccessiDrop is a monitoring and reporting tool, not legal advice. Scan results do not constitute a certification of WCAG compliance, ADA compliance, or compliance with any other accessibility standard or law. You remain solely responsible for the accessibility of your websites. We make no guarantee that using AccessiDrop will prevent lawsuits, regulatory action, or accessibility complaints.

Automated Scanning

AccessiDrop scans URLs you register using automated tools (axe-core). Scans are performed from our servers. You warrant that you have authorization to scan any URLs you register. Do not register URLs for websites you do not own or manage.

Subscriptions

AccessiDrop is offered as a monthly subscription (Pro, Agency, or Agency Plus). Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds for partial months.

Refund Policy

14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. Email [email protected] within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds are issued.

White-Label Reports

Agency and Agency Plus plans include white-label PDF reports. You may share these reports with your clients. We make no claim of ownership over generated reports. The reports carry no Shane Code or AccessiDrop branding when white-label is enabled.

API Service (MetaScrape)

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the API to build a competing metadata extraction service
• Submit malicious URLs or use the API for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage quotas
• Use the API to scrape sites in violation of their terms of service

Rate Limits

Each plan has a monthly request quota. When you reach your limit, the API returns HTTP 429. There are no surprise charges — you will never be billed beyond your plan price.

Availability

We provide the API on a best-effort basis. There is no formal uptime SLA. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

Quote and Proposal Service (QuoteSnap)

Service Description

QuoteSnap is a subscription-based quote and proposal generation service for tradespeople and small service businesses. It allows you to create and send branded quotes, collect electronic signatures, and manage client records.

Your Account and Business Information

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the business information in your account (name, address, phone number, logo). This information appears on quotes sent to your clients. We are not responsible for quotes sent with inaccurate business details.

Client Data You Store

QuoteSnap allows you to store client information (name, email, phone, address) and quote documents (line items, pricing, notes) in order to generate and send quotes. You are the data controller for this client information. You represent and warrant that:

• You have a lawful basis for storing and processing your clients' personal data
• You will not store client data that you are not authorised to process
• You will comply with all applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction with respect to the personal data you store within QuoteSnap

Shane Code processes this data on your behalf as a data processor, solely to provide the QuoteSnap service. We do not sell, share, or use your client data for any purpose other than operating the service for you.

Electronic Signatures

QuoteSnap provides electronic signature functionality that allows your clients to sign quotes electronically. Electronic signatures collected through QuoteSnap are intended to comply with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act), 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq., and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) as adopted in applicable states. For each signature, we capture and store:

• The signature image (canvas drawing)
• IP address of the signer at the time of signing
• User-Agent string of the signer's browser
• Timestamp of the signature event (UTC)

This audit trail is retained to support the legal enforceability of electronically signed quotes. You are responsible for ensuring your clients consent to electronic signature prior to sending a quote for signature. Shane Code does not provide legal advice. The enforceability of any specific signed document depends on the laws of your jurisdiction and the circumstances of each transaction. Consult a qualified attorney if you require legal certainty.

Email Delivery and Open Tracking

QuoteSnap sends transactional emails on your behalf (quote delivery, acceptance and decline notifications, password resets) via Postmark. Quote emails include a 1×1 transparent tracking pixel that notifies us when a recipient opens the email, so we can display open status in your dashboard. By sending quotes through QuoteSnap, you acknowledge and agree to the use of this tracking pixel. The recipient's IP address and User-Agent are captured at open time for this purpose. You are responsible for ensuring your email practices comply with any applicable anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act) in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use QuoteSnap to:

• Send unsolicited commercial email or spam to individuals who have not requested a quote from you
• Store or process sensitive financial data (e.g., credit card numbers) outside of Stripe's secure payment flow
• Impersonate another business or person in quotes or communications
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Subscriptions and Refund Policy

QuoteSnap is offered as a monthly subscription (Pro $12/month, Business $29/month). Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

Refund policy: If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of a new subscription, email [email protected] for a pro-rated refund of any unused days in your billing period. After 14 days, no refunds are issued for the current billing period. Refunds are processed through Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days.

Data on Cancellation

Upon cancellation of your QuoteSnap subscription, your account and associated data (client records, quotes, signature audit logs) are retained for 30 days to allow for data export, then permanently deleted. To request an earlier deletion or a data export, email [email protected].

Payment & Taxes

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable sales tax depending on your location. Subscription plans (MetaScrape, AccessiDrop, QuoteSnap) renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time via your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund eligibility varies by product — see the relevant product section above.

Limitation of Liability

Shane Code products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products or services.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute, please email [email protected] first. We'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can't resolve it, either party may pursue the matter in the courts of Blount County, Tennessee.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
